Carline M. Durocher
Carline Durocher is an Associate in the firm's Business Department. Carline works on a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters, including public and private securities offerings, public and private mergers and acquisitions, and hedge and other private fund formations and regulatory compliance. She represents investors in venture capital transactions and advises start-up companies on formation, venture capital financing and general corporate matters. Carline also advises non-profit companies on general corporate matters. Carline maintains an active pro-bono practice.
During law school, Carline served as an intern at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission, working on enforcement matters in the Boston Regional office. She also interned for the Honorable Judge Michael Coyne of the Boston Municipal Court.
Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Carline worked as a research analyst at AMR Research, a leading technology research firm. While at AMR, Carline published reports on enterprise performance management, asset performance management, IT portfolio management and outsourcing strategies. She also advised clients on their technology initiatives across multiple industries, including energy and regulated industries, automotive and aerospace and defense. In addition, Carline worked as an analyst for a public relations firm, advising U.S. businesses on investment opportunities in various emerging markets in Africa.
