Carla Barilla was appointed President and General Manager of the iGov Technologies business unit in 2006. Prior to her appointment she was Vice President of Intelligence Programs for iGov and focused on Department of Defense (DOD) Intelligence Information System (DODIIS). She was responsible for the first Microsoft enterprise license awarded to iGov as well as two separate Blanket Purchase Agreements, one for Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and one for Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Those vehicles with others awarded to iGov allowed her division to achieve over 100 million in revenue. Ms. Barilla was responsible for the first large prime contract award for iGov Technologies. The TACLAN contract was awarded to iGov Technologies in 2005 and is a 5 year contract valued at 300 Million.
Ms. Barilla came to iGov in 2000 with over 20 years of program experience within the DOD. Prior to iGov Ms. Barilla was Director of Program Sales for BTG, Inc. In the twelve years she worked for BTG she was able to focus her career on strategic programs within DODIIS and was ultimately responsible for increasing the revenue for the IDIQ contracts awarded to BTG to support the DODIIS community. She was able to achieve this success by leveraging the skills learned in various positions focusing on all aspects of managing a successful business. |
