Ms. Romita manages all company-wide advertising, promotional and marketing efforts and oversees all sales and marketing, trucking and service operations, and administrative functions for the residential division which supplies heating oil to thousands of residential and commercial customers in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, and Dutchess counties. She is also responsible for managing Castle's insurance matters and consults on legal matters. Her involvement in industry associations includes her position as Vice President and Member of the Board of Directors of New York Oil Heating Association, Inc. (NYOHA) and Board Member of the Empire State Petroleum Association (ESPA). She is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Westchester Putnam Fuel Dealers Association, a Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Fuel Terminal Operators Association (IFTOA) and a Board Member of the Associated Builders and Owners (ABO). She received her B.A. and M.A. in German Language and Literature from New York University and her J.D. from the New York University School of Law. Prior to joining Castle, Ms. Romita practiced law at the firm of Reid & Priest LLP (now Thelen, Reid & Priest LLP) where she specialized in general corporate, utilities financing and real estate law. In addition to her duties at Castle, Ms. Romita is a member of the Westchester Regional Advisory Board of Lighthouse International. She serves on the Leadership Board of Project Y.E.S.S. (Young Executives Supporting Schools) which raises funds to finance capital improvements for the inner-city schools of the New York Archdiocese and also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Ursuline School in New Rochelle. |
