Elected to the Board in December 2002 Mr. Tiedemann is an investment executive with more than three decades of business experience. He is the Founder Chairman and CEO of Tiedemann Investment Group (TIG) a privately held investment partnership with assets in excess of $2 billion. Prior to founding TIG in 1980 he was one of the initial founders of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette (DLJ) and served as President and Chairman of DLJ Securities subsequently served as President of DLJ Inc. and remained as a Director of Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette until 1985. Mr. Tiedemann has served on a number of Boards including the Board of Governors of the American Stock Exchange; Lexington Management Corporation a mutual fund management company; Piedmont Management Company a publicly traded reinsurance company; Kleinwort Benson Mutual Funds a London-based asset management firm; Curtice Burns a large food processing company; National Medical Care a U.S. kidney dialysis company; Alltel a communications company with more than 12 million customers; and Nikko Securities International a Japanese investment banking firm. Mr. Tiedemann is currently on the Advisory Board of the Harvard Medical School. |
