Carl is responsible for the strategic direction and management of all technology development for CrownPeak. Carl's responsibilities include management of the engineering and software Q/A team, planning and executing new product development and serving as a thought leader for CrownPeak solutions. Previous to CrownPeak, Carl was a Partner at USWeb/CKS, where he led technical services for Global 3000 companies including Times Mirror, Paramount Pictures, CCH, Amgen, and NBC.com. Carl was also the senior programmer analyst at the University of Southern California Center for Scholarly Technology, where he helped establish some of the first ever online library initiatives. While at USC, he also developed ground-breaking Web systems including the Mercury Project, the USC TommyCam, and the Robotic Telegarden, which enabled users to manipulate the real world via a Web interface. Sutter holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and a master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California. |
