Carl Smith has been involved with Xinet product research, development, programming, technical support, and sales for nine years. Smith travels extensively throughout Europe and Japan, consulting and training companies on how to streamline their creative workflow for profit and efficiency. Smith has spoken at leading trade shows and industry events such as HDIA, Seybold New York, and Xinet conferences. Prior to joining Xinet, Smith worked for Abacus Concepts, the makers of StatView Macintosh statistical software, as an MIS administrator and project manager for internal systems, servers, e-mail, databases and wiring. Smith has an engineering certificate from UC Berkeley Extension in digital telephony. He also studied UNIX kernel internals with the creator of the UNIX file system at the University of California, Berkeley. |
