Mickey Moore brings to Metagenics more than 18 years of experience in the nutritional supplement industry. As Co-Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Moore’s positive team leadership abilities and wealth of experience in the nutraceutical industry has proven to be a significant complement to Metagenics’ leading-edge vision and growth strategy for continued success.
Prior to joining Metagenics in 1984, Mr. Moore and his wife Janice were distributors for the company’s products in Illinois, Tennessee, and Indiana. During their successful tenure as Metagenics distributors, the Moores’ distributorship held the record for the highest per capita sales, as well as the highest net profit margins of any of the company’s official distributors.
Mr. Moore also worked for ITT Bell & Gossett, where he served as an operations troubleshooter and turnaround expert. In this capacity, Mr. Moore consolidated manufacturing facilities, improved manufacturing lead times, and improved operating efficiencies. Previous to that, he was a brand manager for several product lines.
Among his many accomplishments as Co-Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Moore spearheaded the company’s efforts to improve the company’s manufacturing efficiencies, helping the company successfully achieve NPA (formerly NNFA) GMP certification in 2003. Mr. Moore is responsible for manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, human resources, eCommerce, facilities, and inventory management. |
