Carl graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1974 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Getty Oil Company in various engineering capacities from 1974 through 1984. His jobs included production, reservoir, drilling, facilities, property evaluations and special projects engineering. Carl also spent time in the Getty Corporate Office and worked on the Company's worldwide reserves report and the 10-K filing for the Securities and Exchange Commission. After working in engineering management for 4 years, Carl went to work for Texaco and worked in their environmental department for several years. During that time, Carl worked on Platform Harvest in the area of regulatory compliance. Kenai hired Carl as our Safety Coordinator in 1995. His 34 years of experience in all aspects of the oil industry have proved to be a great asset to Kenai. In addition to his duties as EH&S Manager, Carl has been involved in our rig building projects as an engineering coordinator. |
