Carl Benda joined NorthMarq Capital in September 2003 and is currently Assistant Vice President and Producer in the Boca Raton Regional office. Mr. Benda is responsible for origination and production of mortgage debt, equity, and structured finance transactions for commercial real estate. Additional responsibilities include training, structuring, underwriting and loan presentation. Mr. Benda has over twelve years of experience in commercial real estate finance and development, beginning his career as an accountant with Demattia Group in Detroit, and later with the Walsh Group in Chicago. Prior to joining Northmarq, Mr. Benda was Senior Accountant at Insignia Development in suburban Chicago, where he was responsible for acquiring and maintaining construction financing for multi-family and single-family developments. Mr. Benda holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Real Estate & Finance from the University of Florida. |
