Carl Anderson is a forward thinker who never allows Doremus to rest on its laurels. He joined the company in the late Eighties, and has been the driving force behind its transformation to a corporate and business communications agency that creates fully integrated programs for its clients.
A true visionary, Carl Anderson opened the door to the creation of successful integrated corporate campaigns for clients such as The ACE Group (business insurance), Corning, Hitachi, ITT Industries, TRW Automotive and United Technologies, and has maintained Doremus’ position as an outstanding blue chip agency for financial clients such as Morgan Stanley, Deutsche Bank and CSFB.
He is committed to leading Doremus as it continuously discovers fresh, innovative ways to breathe new life into a category of communications that for many years has been under-utilized and misunderstood ways not necessarily confined to traditional advertising, but through other venues as well (promotions, corporate sponsorships, special events, etc.). Being able to deliver on this mandate requires deep understanding of the industries and target audiences.
Carl has taken Doremus to the forefront, applying cutting-edge research techniques in developing timely intellectual capital for its clients on various corporate subjects.
Carl’s dedication to researching the mindset of key decision makers has given Doremus premier status as an agency with deep insights into the C Level (CEOs, CFOs, CIOs, etc.), as well as institutional investors (analysts and portfolio managers) and Wall Street.
With offices in San Francisco, London, Hong Kong and New York, Carl Anderson has been the impetus behind Doremus’ global service offering.
Prior to joining Doremus, Carl Anderson was an executive at ad agency BBDO, working in business affairs and in the business planning group. While working at Deloitte Haskins & Sells (now Deloitte & Touche), he was assigned to Wells Rich Greene when the eclectic creative ad agency was at its peak.
In 1990 he was named Chief Operating Officer of Doremus, then President of Doremus in 1992.
Carl received his BA degree from Villanova University. He serves on the Board of the non-profit group Caring Community and the vestry of his church. He is married and has four children. |
