Carl Mason has been employed by TJ Turf to assist in the identification and procurement of investment properties for Winter Green Holdings LLC. He was with Cone Mills for 30 years and at retirement was president of Cone Finishing a Division of Cone Mills with responsibility for Printing and Finishing Plants in Carlisle and Marion South Carolina which employ 1 500 people. Also he had responsibility for the Marketing/Sales Group located in New York City.
Mr. Mason attended Massey Business College and Tri County Technical College. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Daniel Business School Executive Development Program and the University of Virginia Darden Business School Executive Development Program. Mr. Mason attended the Office of Thrift Supervision’s 2000 Director’s Forum for the Southeast Region.
Mr. Mason is currently Chairman of the Boards of Union Financial Bancshares and Provident Community Bank. He served on the boards of Union Health Care Foundation American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorist South Carolina Textile Manufacturers Association and the American Textile Manufacturers Institute Finishers’ Committee of which he is a past chairman. He was a member of the Union Vocational School Advisory Committee. He has served on the boards of the American Red Cross United Way of Union and Union Country Club. Also Mr. Mason is a former member of the Executive Committee of the Boy Scouts of America for the Piedmont District the Union County Citizens Committee and the Union Rotary Club. Mr. Mason is a volunteer with the local chapter of the American Cancer Institute
