Carl Schlier practices in the firm's Electrical/Mechanical and Litigation Practice Groups. His focus is semiconductor technologies. He has experience in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and the preparation of patentability and infringement opinions in a wide range of electrical technologies. He also has experience in Federal District Court patent litigation.
While an Engineer/Scientist for IBM Federal Systems Division, he worked in the field of radiation effects on semiconductor devices and published several technical papers on this subject.
Mr. Schlier received his Law degree from George Mason University Law School and holds Master and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degrees from the Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Schlier is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and is a member of the American Bar Association. |
