Dr. Peck joined the Food and Drug Administration as director of the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research in October 1987. He was promoted to assistant surgeon general in the Public Health Service in October 1990. In September 1994, Professor Peck joined the faculty of the Georgetown University Medical Center, where he is the founding director of the new Center for Drug Development Science. His research interests center on pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, transdermal drug delivery, experimental design, data analysis, and drug development and regulation.
