Ms. Barth became Chief Financial Officer of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development in August 2004. At that time, she stepped down from active management of LB Capital, Inc., a private equity investment firm she co-founded in 1987. Ms. Barth served as a member of the Investment Committee of the City of Houston from 2001-2004, the Texas Tech University Board of Regents from 1999-2005, and the board of governors of the Houston Forum Club from 1997-2004. She is currently a member of the board of directors of The Ronald McDonald House of Houston. Ms. Barth holds a BS degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. |
