Ms. Capretta has more than fifteen years of practical experience working with leaders, teams and organizations on development. She has also designed multiple strategic initiatives to build integrated competency-based talent management solutions.
Ms. Capretta is the co-lead of the Korn/Ferry Advantage, a multi-year project to facilitate the inclusion of proprietary science and intellectual property into the Korn/Ferry search and talent management processes. She also represents the Firm on the human resources circuit and writes journal articles regarding best practices in talent management.
Prior to Korn/Ferry’s acquisition of Lominger International in 2006, Ms. Capretta was President and Chief Operating Officer at Lominger. She is also the co-author of several research-based development remedy books including FYI for Teams and FYI for Talent.
Prior to joining Lominger, Ms. Capretta was the director of executive development for Nationwide, a Fortune 100 financial services company where she designed and implemented a succession planning system to identify, develop and place global talent in an organization with more than 30,000 employees.
During more than 13 years with Nationwide, she held various human resources roles, ranging from generalist responsibilities to training, organizational development and executive development. Additionally, she held line positions in training, project management, and strategic planning.
Ms. Capretta attended Ohio State University and Franklin University, both in Columbus, Ohio and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration. |
