Ms. Gerwin is an associate in the Litigation Department at Brown Rudnick.
During law school, she served as a legal clerk for Congressman Henry A. Waxman, analyzing the issue of security contracting in Iraq in preparation for hearings of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Ms. Gerwin also interned for The Chicago Appleseed Fund for Justice, where she examined the effectiveness of child support regulations nationwide.
Prior to law school, she worked as a Washington, DC news correspondent for the Hilton Head Island Packet. In this role, she reported on ethics rule violations for an investigative series on privately sponsored congressional travel. She also covered the South Carolina delegation at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston, as well as Senate and House debates, congressional hearings and lobbyist panels.
