Mr. Thompson was promoted to the position of executive vice president, logistics in June 2006. In this role, Cameron works closely with the division vice presidents of operations to improve efficiencies of day-to-day operations, control capital expenditures and execute the current logistics strategy. Reporting to Cameron are the vice president of logistics, the vice president of supply chain management, the division logistics managers and Mohr Partners Apria’s real estate department.
Prior to his promotion, Cameron had served as division vice president of operations since December 2005. Cameron joined Apria in 1997 as a branch manager in Corpus Christ, TX. Since that time, he has held numerous positions within the company including region revenue manager, region vice president of operations and division vice president of sales. From 1986 to 1997, Cameron served as an operations manager for two regional, privately-held home care companies. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
