D. Cameron Hyde is president, Xerox North American Partners Group. He was named to this position January 2007. He is also a corporate vice president. He was named to this position December 2004.
Hyde is responsible for this organization which positions Xerox North America's indirect channels: North American Resellers, North American Agent Operations and North American Dealer Channel within a single entity. This consolidation is aimed at expanding the capabilities of our indirect channels to aggressively grow market share.
Hyde joined Xerox in 1975 as a sales representative in Edmonton, Canada. Since then he has held a wide variety of sales and marketing positions in Canada and the United States. In 2003, Hyde came to the U.S. to become vice president and general manager, Xerox North American Agent Operations and the North American Dealer Channel. He was promoted to senior vice president and general manager in 2004.
Between 1975 and 2003, Hyde held positions as vice president and general manager of Xerox - British Columbia - customer business unit; vice president and general manager, Xerox Central Operations; and vice president, global accounts, Industrial Business Operations. Prior to this he held the position of president and chief executive officer of Xerox Canada Ltd.
Hyde earned bachelor of arts and business administration degrees from the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta in 1973 and 1975. He has an executive MBA from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. He was a member of the United Way Cabinets in British Columbia and Ontario and sat on several boards including the Conference Board of Canada, ITAC, National Quality Institute, United Way of Greater Toronto and the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business.
Hyde is a board member of Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School, Rochester Business Alliance and the Business Council of New York State. He is the past chair of the National Quality Institute of Canada (2002-2007). |
