Calvin S. McKay is a results-oriented, financial executive with a strategic and analytical approach to business. Calvin has extensive experience raising capital and negotiating asset-based loans for both private and public companies. He is particularly skilled in M&A transactions and divestitures, contract negotiations, real estate transactions, management reporting and analysis, cost accounting, forecasting/budgets and cash management. His experience includes decentralized and centralized reporting structures with multi-divisions, multi-plants, retail stores, international subsidiaries, European affiliates and offshore manufacturing contractors including joint ventures.
Calvin has a proven track record in developing outstanding financial departments and implementing best accounting practices. In a previous engagement, he served as the CFO and Director to Haynes International, LLC, a $225MM manufacturer, where his responsibilities were to implement financial and internal controls. In this capacity, Calvin led and executed cost reduction initiatives, implementing a balance sheet restructuring and significantly improved working capital, SEC public reporting and corporate governance.
In addition to his numerous turnaround and CFO roles, Calvin has been responsible for operations including manufacturing, human resources, distribution, purchasing, outsourcing along with information systems and cross functional integration of enterprise wide systems. As the SVP of Operations of ACME Boot Company, the world's largest boot manufacturer, he led the Company's successful turnaround, dramatically increasing operating earnings and shareholder value.
Calvin received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Austin Peay State University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Tennessee Society of CPA's.
