As President of the Americas, Cal Frese is responsible for all business units within the United States, Canada, Mexico and South America. In addition, Mr. Frese is a member of the company’s Global Executive Board. Mr. Frese oversees a business with more than 15,000 employees and which generated more than $3.4 billion in revenue in 2006. This includes the brokerage and corporate services operations of Trammell Crow Company, which CB Richard Ellis acquired in December 2006. Prior to becoming President of the Americas in January 2005, Mr. Frese served as Chief Operating Officer at CB Richard Ellis, where he was responsible for all shared services operations in the Americas. Previously, he was Executive Managing Director of CB Richard Ellis' Central Region, and was responsible for overseeing business operations in 35 cities, with over 2,000 employees. From 1989 to 1998, he was General Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Whittier Partners, a New England-based full-service real estate company and joint venture partner of CB Richard Ellis. Mr. Frese also gained considerable financial management and real estate experience in the 1980s as Senior Vice President of Cabot, Cabot & Forbes, a real estate development company, and as a certified public accountant for Arthur Andersen & Company. |
