Cal brings more than 25 years of retail leasing and property management experience to Cullinan's leasing team. He has overseen the lease up of the redeveloped Shoppes at College Hills and East Court Villages, including dozens of new leases ranging from ground leases to new and renewal leases and temporary kiosks. Additionally, Cal has performed due diligence on numerous new developments and potential acquisitions. Prior to joining Cullinan Properties, he was Regional Leasing Director for CBL Properties directing the leasing activities of twelve enclosed malls, fourteen strip centers and more than 11 million square feet of GLA. With centers in Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia, Florida and Mississippi, Cal led the leasing activities of five leasing managers. He also oversaw the lease planning, budgeting and expense management for the region. As Executive Vice President for Equity Growth Group, he was responsible for management of the property management and leasing company. With accountability for 13 staff, his areas of responsibility included accounting, property management, marketing and leasing. In addition to assisting in new site development and redevelopment projects, he also initiated Equity Growth’s Web presence and marketing campaigns. As Senior Vice President for General Growth Center Companies he was responsible for the leasing and remerchandising of 16 enclosed malls in the East and Midwest. Supervising a staff of five leasing agents, Cal also worked with the third party ownership to solicit new business opportunities, including the redevelopment and leasing of seven enclosed malls and one festival marketplace project. Cal began his leasing career at The Taubman Company and the leasing of centers, including Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL, Columbus City Center in Columbus, OH, The Mall at Short Hills, Beverly Center and Stamford Town Center. Major accounts included Melville Corp., Hallmark Cards, Crate & Barrel, Ralph Lauren Polo and Hartmarx. |
