Biography
Calvin M. Jackson joined Kelly Hart & Hallman LLP in 1985 and is a partner in its Corporate and Securities practice group. Mr. Jackson obtained his bachelor’s degree from Rice University in 1982 and his juris doctor, with honors, from the University of Texas School of Law in 1985.
Mr. Jackson has over 20 years experience representing individuals and entities in connection with a wide range of securities and corporate law matters, including private and public securities offerings and the structuring and negotiation of derivative transactions. In the area of derivatives, Mr. Jackson has extensive experience in credit derivative and equity-based derivative transactions, including total return swaps and structured financing transactions covering private assets and restricted or concentrated positions in public equity securities. Mr. Jackson has represented many hedge funds and other private investment vehicles in connection with their securities and commodities trading activity.
