Cabot previously served as Managing Director of Brown, McMillan & Co., an investment firm he co-founded that sponsored buy-outs and venture capital investments. From 1987 until 1995, Cabot worked at Volpe, Welty & Company ("VW&Co."), a boutique investment bank serving information technology and healthcare companies, where he headed the healthcare practice and served as a member of its Executive Committee from 1992 to 1995. Prior to his tenure at VW&Co., Cabot worked in the investment banking departments of The First Boston Corporation and Lehman Brothers. Cabot received an MBA from Harvard Business School with high distinction as a George F. Baker Scholar and an AB cum laude in Government from Harvard College. Cabot is a past Chair of the Board of Trustees of Town School and currently serves on the board of The Thacher School. He is also active in alumni affairs for Harvard College. |
