Dr. Khisty is nationally recognized for his expertise in traffic engineering and transportation planning. He also has investigated infrastructure location and planning problems, crowd movements circulation and evacuation in high-rise buildings, developed construction engineering methodology, and contributed to civil engineering education. Dr. Khisty is an active member of ASCE, the Institute of Transportation Engineers, the Transportation Research Board, World Conference on Transportation Research, the American Planning Association, the American Society for Engineering Education, and the American Association for Artificial Intelligence. Widely published in professional journals, Dr. Khisty is also the author of Transportation Engineering (1990) and Laboratory and Field Manual for Transportation Engineers (1991), published by Prentice Hall/Simon & Schuster. |
