Mr. Gehring was President of Loan Eagle Strategies, Inc., in 1998-99, which provided consulting services for mergers and acquisitions and seed capital venture investments which led to the investment with Dr. Waltzer’s predecessor company to ConvergenceHealth. From 1991 to 1998, he was CEO and President of Applied Computer Technologies, Inc. and EVP/COO of Strategic Resource Solutions Inc., companies that he co-founded and sold to Progress Energy. These companies provided Internet-enabled facility management software systems and energy efficient systems and services to the commercial and institutional markets. In 1998 the companies had over $60 million in revenues and 600 employees. From 1985 to 1991, Mr. Gehring was European Sales and Service Director with Devron-Hercules now a part of Honeywell, which provide process automation and high-tech control systems to the paper industry. He holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and a BA in German from Oregon State University and the University of Stuttgart with honors. |
