Mr. Goodson joined FlowMedica, Inc., in July 2002 as part of the company's initial engineering core. Previously, he was Manager of Research and Development for FlowMedica, through the initial product development, approval, and launches of the Benephit products. Mr. Goodson has several years experience in cardiovascular interventional medical devices. Most recently prior to joining FlowMedica, he served as Principal Research Engineer in the Department of Vascular Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, developing new endovascular products in thrombolysis and EVAR markets, and generating business plans and intellectual property for potential spin-off companies. Prior to CCF, Mr. Goodson served in various product development and engineering roles at World Medical encompassing design, development, and clinical support for Talent endovascular AAA and TAA products, and following a successful acquisition by Medtronic/AVE, continued in a product development management role within the AneuRx organization. Prior to Medtronic and WMMC, Mr. Goodson held roles in R&D and Manufacturing at Cordis Corporation, engineering and launching various neurovascular and peripheral interventional catheters, guide wires, and embolic products.
