Professor Bud Harmon PhD - Technical Advisor
Dr. Bud Harmon is well known for his contribution to the American and Chinese animal science research and educational programs. He is an Emeritus Professor of Purdue University. While at Purdue he was the Head of Animal Science Department. Dr. Harmon was a former President of the American Society of Animal Science. He was also the Director of Swine Research for Purina Inc the largest animal nutrition company in the US before its sale to a large global company. Since 2000 Dr. Harmon has visited China more than ten times as Chief Scientist of USDA Emerging Market Program. He has worked with the swine and feed industries in 15 provinces across China given lectures to audience of more than 6 000 including about 4 500 swine producers and 1500 feed companies that represent about approximate 20% of the Chinese commercial farms. |
