Professor V.C. Bud Jenkins, Technical Director BS, MBA, JD, CHMM, CHWP 2008 marks the 50th years that Professor Jenkins has been in the field of chemical engineering, material science and coatings. Professor Jenkins brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as the Technical Director of SEI Chemical in Los Angeles. Professor Jenkins spearheads SEI’s research effort on safe technologies that provide unique efficacy and longevity that combat bacterial growth and fungi proliferation. The combination of technical, corporate and regulatory experience makes Professor Jenkins an invaluable member to the SEI team. After law school, Professor Jenkins joined Ellis Paint Corporation. Professor Jenkins worked his way up through the company and held positions of Plant Manager, Environmental Health and Safety Officer, Operations Manager and ultimately he became the Companies Technical Director. In 1990, Professor Jenkins became an independent chemical consultant to several major chemical firms in a variety of industries such as adhesives, sealants, concrete and plastics. Professor Jenkins has extensive experience in the field of antimicrobials and antimicrobial coating technologies and has been utilized as an expert witness in several microbiological cases. |
