Mr. Youngren is a General Partner for Polaris Venture Partners where he primarily focuses on growth equity investments in the technology, healthcare, media, and business services industries. Before joining Polaris, he served as a senior associate at Great Hill Partners, where he sourced and executed investments in SmartMail Services and ManagedStorage International and served on the Board of Directors for both companies. Previously, Mr. Youngren was an analyst for Willis Stein & Partners in Chicago and for Bear Stearns & Co.'s technology investment banking group in New York. Mr. Youngren holds a BA in economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
