Mr Starbuck is TalentSpring's co-founder and CEO. Prior to starting TalentSpring, he worked at Microsoft starting as a developer and growing to manage development efforts in Windows Vista and Windows Live. He has worked on some of Microsoft's most challenging engineering projects, including Internet Explorer as it grew from 2% to 85% market share. During the height of the spam epidemic in 2001/2002, he started Microsoft's spam filtering effort that later went into most applicable Microsoft products (Outlook, Hotmail, Exchange, etc.). Mr. Starbuck is from southern California and graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a degree in Computer Science. Mr. Starbuck specializes in using advanced mathematics to solve difficult problems that customers face, and leading teams to build mass market products to bring the benefit to customers. |
