Dr McCune is board-certified in anatomic and clinical pathology and hematopathology. He received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. Dr McCune completed pathology residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, followed by a research fellowship at the National Cancer Institute and an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins Medical School department of pathology. He has extensive diagnostic experience in hematopathology and general surgical pathology, and he has performed tissue interpretation in support of numerous clinical trials at LabCorp. Dr McCune has authored papers published in journals such as Human Pathology, the Journal of Clinical Investigation, the American Journal of Pathology, and the Journal of Biological Chemistry. |
