He is currently an associate professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and also holds an adjunct professor position in the Department of Dermatology at the University. Dr. Fuller's research over the past 20 years has focused on the regulation of human skin pigmentation. This research has resulted in over 40 peer-reviewed publications related to pigmentation and 11 U.S. patents covering various commercial uses of pigmentation stimulators and inhibitors.
Besides, Dr. Fuller authored more than 35 peer-reviewed scientific articles on pigmentation, and received three-year focused giving award from Johnson & Johnson for his discovery of the cellular mechanisms that control differences in racial human skin color. |
