Bryan J. Even is a Raytheon Company vice president and president of Raytheon Technical Services Company LLC (RTSC). He was elected to his current position in October 2001. Even had an immediate impact when he assumed leadership
of RTSC, thanks to more than 20 years of diversified engineering, logistics, operational and management experience in a variety of organizations. He has been extremely effective at using his management team to transform RTSC and improve overall operations through Customer Focused Marketing, innovative solution offerings, cost reduction and the targeting of the most profitable areas. A wholly-owned subsidiary of Raytheon Company, RTSC provides technical, scientific and professional services for defense, federal and commercial customers worldwide. Under Even’s leadership, RTSC has achieved ISO 9000 registration at numerous facilities across the United States and Canada, been assessed at CMM® Level 4 at Engineering and Production Support (EPS), and received multiple nationally recognized customer quality awards,
including the NASA George M. Low Award, the U.S. Senate Productivity and Maryland Quality Award, and the
Central Intelligence Agency Director’s Quality Award. Even’s active leadership of Raytheon Six SigmaTM (R6s®) has ensured that process improvements are highly aligned with RTSC’s strategic direction, driving debt reduction and increased profitability, as well as cost reductions for our customers. R6s processes have already improved cash by over $100 million. R6s has become an integral part of RTSC operations, by using R6s processes to engage our customers and form better partnerships. Before moving to RTSC corporate headquarters, Even had oversight for the EPS business unit in Indianapolis, formerly the Naval Air Warfare Center and the site of the largest, most successful military privatization in U.S. history. Under Even’s leadership, EPS was awarded the State of Indiana Award for Quality for two consecutive years.
