Mr. DeBoer became President and Chief Operating Officer in 2006. He joined Lithia in 1989 as a Comptroller and progressed to Finance Manager Used Vehicle Manager General Sales Manager and then to General Manager of Lithia Honda in 1991. In 1997 he became Senior Vice President Mergers Acquisitions & Operations he was promoted to Executive Vice President of the company in 2003.
Mr. DeBoer received his Bachelor of Science degree Summa Cum Laude in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University in 1989. He is also a graduate of the NADA Dealer Academy in 1990 and is a member of the ADP National Strategic Dealer Advisory Board American Import Automotive Dealers Association (AIADA) Oregon Auto Dealers Association (OADA) and The President’s Club of the National Auto Dealers Association (NADA).
Mr. DeBoer has worked on the Hearts & Vines Foundation Board of Trustees for the past four years and is the past President. Hearts & Vines is Southern Oregon’s largest charity auction.
Mr. DeBoer has earned several awards including his most recent The Business Journal's Forty under Forty Award in 2005. |
