Bruno Rambaud is a graduate of École Polytechnique and École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
After holding several positions at the Ministry of Public Works and Environment from 1975 to 1981, he joined the Rouen Harbour Authority. In 1985, he was appointed to the Rail Signalling department first at Jeumont Schneider, then at Alsthom after those businesses merged. In 1988, he was at the inception of Professional Mobile Radio activity of Matra Communication. He then chaired the executive board of Metaleurop (1997-1998) before joining Thomson-CSF Communications as Chairman & CEO, and SVP of Communications Systems, now the Land & Joint Systems division. He has held his current position since 2004. |
