Dr. Zetter is the Charles Nowiszewski Professor in the Departments of Cell Biology and Surgery at Harvard Medical School. He is also Vice President for Research at Boston Children's Hospital. Dr. Zetter is highly regarding nationally and internationally as a leader in the research of tumor progression, cancer diagnosis, cancer metastasis, and tumor angiogenesis. Dr. Zetter has won numerous national and international awards for his work in the field of cancer research including a Faculty Research Award from the American Cancer Society and the prestigious MERIT award from the US National Cancer Institute. Dr. Zetter is on the editorial board of eight peer-reviewed journals and recently served as an expert witness for the United States Senate Cancer Coalition hearings in Washington, DC. He also serves on several grant review boards for public agencies such as the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society. |
