Bruce West, a founding Principal of WYA, has 35 years of civil and environmental engineering experience. He has been responsible for project or program management of numerous large, complex projects, including facilities planning and design of water and wastewater facilities for urban areas, and infrastructure work in support of several new town projects from 1,000 to 3,000 acres. He has been responsible for numerous city-wide sewer and water master plans, facilities plans, and designs of treatment systems up to 200 mgd in capacity; wastewater reclamation projects; and a variety of specialty studies related to wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal. Bruce has completed planning and design of dozens of water supply and treatment facilities and has served as either project manager or principal-in-charge on wastewater treatment plant expansion projects throughout California. In addition to his extensive and unique experience in managing, reviewing, and coordinating major development projects for municipal and other public clients, Bruce has taught upper-division and graduate-level university courses focusing on wastewater systems engineering. |
