In 2004, Bruce Sellers co-founded SHOP.COM with Lee Lorenzen in order to create a marketplace to help consumers more efficiently shop on the Web. Previously, Sellers served as executive vice president of sales and marketing for CatalogCity.com. Today, Sellers shares responsibility for SHOP.COM's day-to-day operations with CEO Ken Goldstein.Prior to SHOP.COM, Sellers had an impressive 20-year history during which he was a senior executive in a series of successful entrepreneurial start-ups. In particular, he was part of the original executive team that launched the QVC Network in 1986, and was directly responsible for growing the network's distribution to more than 50 million homes that generated more than $1.5 billion in annual revenue. Other successes include the PRISM Network (now Comcast Sports Net), American Movie Classics, and America's Health Network (now Discovery Health). He attended the University of Alabama and has held several positions with industry organizations and boards, including the Pennsylvania Cable Television Association and the New Jersey Television Association. |
