Bruce Pompan is an experienced investment banker in arranging private placements, providing sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions advisory services and structuring recapitalizations for growth companies. He has a broad range of industry expertise, particularly in consumer products and services, business services, communications, technology and entertainment. Mr. Pompan previously held the position of Director of Investment Banking at Harris Nesbitt Gerard (formerly Gerard Klauer Mattison) and at ING Barings. He was instrumental in building ING Barings’ West Coast presence, facilitating over $2 billion in equity financings, recapitalizations and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining ING Barings, Mr. Pompan was associated with Golenberg & Geller, Inc., a Los Angeles based merchant bank, specializing in management and leveraged buyouts and providing financial advisory services. Previously, he was a Senior Consultant at Kenneth Leventhal & Company, where he specialized in real estate, financial analysis, troubled debt restructuring and business valuation. Board Position Mr. Pompan previously was a director and co-chairman of Genius Products, Inc. (OTCBB:GNPI), a multi-brand company that produces and distributes affordable family entertainment products including DVDs and CDs. Speaking Engagements and Business Organizations Mr. Pompan is an active speaker on the topics of private equity, PIPEs and other financing alternatives for middle market companies. He has presented for numerous organizations, including the Association for Corporate Growth, International Bankers Association, Strategic Research Institute, Los Angeles County Bar and UCLA Extension. Mr. Pompan is an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Los Angeles chapter. Community Involvement Mr. Pompan volunteers his time to numerous organizations. As a member of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee, he interviews high school seniors applying to Yale. He has served as a representative to the Curtis School Endowment Campaign and is active in the Asthma & Allergy Foundation, an advocacy group that works to develop and implement public policies to improve the quality of life for people with asthma and allergies. Education Mr. Pompan received his MBA from New York University, Graduate School of Business Administration and earned his B.A. from Yale University. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
