Dr. Monroe brings over twenty years of academic and industrial research experience to the practice of patent law. Before attending law school, he spent two years at the California Institute of Technology and twenty three years with the DuPont Company. He is the inventor or a co-inventor of twelve United States patents and understands the inventor's point of view. He works primarily in chemistry, photoimaging, and related areas. An avid gardener, he also has experience in the drafting and procurement of plant patents. Dr. Monroe is an adjunct professor of Intellectual Property at the Widener University School of Law and since 1966 has been teaching courses in Patent Law and Patent Practice.
