Bruce Hack is CEO of Vivendi Games, a leading global publisher of on-line, mobile and console video games. He was Vice Chairman of Universal Music Group -- the world’s largest music company -- from 1998 to 2001, and Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Universal Studios from 1995 to 1998. Between stints in the music and games businesses, Mr. Hack was Executive Vice President - Strategy and Development for Vivendi Universal, and a key negotiator in the $14 billion sale of the Vivendi Universal Entertainment assets to NBC.
Mr. Hack joined Joseph E. Seagram & Sons, Inc. in 1982 and held a range of sales, marketing and planning positions in the Company’s beverage operations. Beginning in 1990, he served as Chief Financial Officer at two of the Company’s major divisions: in 1990, The Seagram Beverage Company; and 1991-1994, Tropicana Products, Inc.
Prior to joining Seagram, Bruce was a trade negotiator at the U.S. Treasury in Washington, DC. Mr. Hack earned a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
