Bruce Edwards has been with West Marine since 1986. In Mr. Edwards’ current position, he is responsible for the sales and operations of the 360+ stores in the chain. He started in the Catalog division and worked his way up the store organization. Before he became a Senior Vice President of Store Operations, Mr. Edwards has held positions as District Manager, Director of Store Operations, Regional Manager and Vice President of Retail Operations. Mr. Edwards has been involved in each acquisition since joining West Marine. Mr. Edwards received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz in 1986.
Mr. Edwards has been actively involved in the marine industry for more than 20 years. Including actively competing in World-Class Sailing and has been a life long boater. He has raced sailboats competitively for over 30 years and has attended over 25 World Championships in five different classes with many top five results. |
