Bruce Dunlevie, a general partner of Benchmark Capital, is a seasoned veteran of venture capital, with more than 15 years experience in high-tech investing. Benchmark Capital was founded in 1995 to help talented entrepreneurs build great technology companies. Managing more than $3 billion in committed venture capital, Benchmark focuses on investing in entrepreneurs with original ideas. Dunlevie’s past investments include Catapulse (acquired by Rational Software), Good Technology, Genesys Labs (acquired by Alcatel), Handspring (acquired by palmOne), Kalpana (acquired by Cisco Systems), Palm Computing (acquired by 3Com) and SnapTrack (acquired by Qualcomm). Dunlevie received a BA from Rice University and MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He is a former director of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists. |
