Bruce Croxon is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lavalife Inc., a leading provider of online and IVR-based interactive personals services. Mr. Croxon was one of the four founders of Interactive Media Group (IMG), now Lavalife Inc. The company's first business was an interactive voice response (IVR) based marketing service called Phoneworks which provided interactive marketing programs to top 100 companies in Canada. The company entered the telephone based classified ads business in 1987, adding a Web-based service in 1997. The company re-branded its product offerings and has been known as Lavalife since late 2001. Both services were the first of their kind in North America with Lavalife continuing on today as of one the global leaders in its category. Aside from previous stints as CEO, Mr. Croxon has at various times over the past 16 years held the roles of Executive Chairman, Director of New Business Ventures, and Director of Marketing. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario, London, Canada. |
