Bruce Altman joined KPMG Corporate Finance in 2004 with more than 22 years of mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance advisory experience. Bruce serves as a Managing Director and is the Group Head for the Advisory Services and Financial Opinions Team. Bruce has acted as financial adviser on more than 175 transactions ranging from strategically and financially motivated mergers/acquisitions, corporate divestitures and private company sales, to debt and equity financings, debt restructurings, fairness opinions and valuations.
Bruce has worked with start-ups, private/family-owned, middle market public and Fortune 500 companies in a number of industries including basic manufacturing, specialty chemicals, plastics/packaging, business services, retailing, and consumer products. Additionally, he has extensive international experience, having advised on numerous cross border transactions involving companies based in France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Switzerland and Japan.
Bruce began his professional career with Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association in New York, as a Senior Portfolio Analyst involved in debt and equity private placements and leveraged buyout investments. He also has held positions as Managing Director in the M&A departments of Trenwith Securities LLC, the investment banking arm of BDO Seidman, and with Andersen Corporate Finance LLC. Prior to Andersen, Bruce served as Group Vice President and Co-Head of Banque Paribas' New York M&A Group.
Bruce holds an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. |
