Mr. Prolow is responsible for the oversight of corporate strategy, marketing and private banking coordination functions of Tiedemann Trust Company. Mr. Prolow first joined Tiedemann Investment Group in 1998 as General Partner, Chief Operating Officer and Co-Head of Marketing. Mr. Prolow also served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Tiedemann Trust Company from 1999 until his appointment as Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer in March of 2004.
From 1978 to 1998, Mr. Prolow was employed by J.P. Morgan and Co., Inc., where he most recently served as a Managing Director in the Private Client Group, responsible for the private client business on the East Coast. During his tenure at J.P. Morgan, he also served as Chairman of the Board of J.P. Morgan, Florida, FSB, and Vice Chairman of J.P. Morgan Trust Company of Delaware. From 1992 to 1994, Mr. Prolow was the President of Morgan Trust Company of Florida. From 1986 to 1992, he served as Vice President and Treasurer of J.P. Morgan Services in Wilmington, Delaware. From 1978 to 1986, he was employed at Morgan Data Services, first as Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer and later as President. Mr. Prolow received a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers College in 1972, completed graduate studies in Accounting at NYU's Stern School of Business and Bank Management from Fairleigh Dickenson University.
Mr. Prolow served on the Advisory Board of Wilmington College Graduate School of Business from 1984 to 1992, and as the Board Chairman from 1984 to 1986. In addition, he has served on the Palm Beach Economic Council and the New World Symphony International Advisory Board. Mr. Prolow served on the Board of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, and held the position of Chairman of the Palm Beach Board of the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra from 1995 to 1998. He currently serves on Advisory Boards at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. |
