Bruce Nelson served on the Board of Directors of Harbor National Bank from September 2002 until the sale of the Bank in April 2004. Mr. Nelson is presently Chief Financial Officer of netGuru, Inc. (NASDAQ: NGRU) and has served in this capacity since April 2002. netGuru, Inc. is a global engineering software and IT service company. As CFO, Mr. Nelson manages all financial policies and directs all accounting, treasury, tax, insurance, investment banking, and investor relation’s functions. Prior to netGuru, Inc. Mr. Nelson served as COO of Millennium Information Technologies in Irvine, CA, from 1997 to 2002. At Millennium, Mr. Nelson managed strategic corporate initiatives for portfolio companies in the medical healthcare sector. Before joining Millennium, he served from 1992 to 1997 as President and CEO of Comprehensive Weight Management; a service based healthcare company headquartered in Irvine, CA. At Comprehensive, he originated and executed business strategies and revenue-enhancement programs for hospitals nationwide. From 1985 to 1991 he served as Treasurer of Comprehensive Care Corporation, a $220 million NSE-traded company in Irvine, CA. From 1982 to 1985 he served as AVP at Union Bank in Irvine and also served as a U.S. Naval Officer from 1976 to 1982.
Mr. Nelson resides in Irvine, Ca. He received an MBA from Bryant College in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1981 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Finance from the University of Southern California in 1976. |
