Bruce MacKay has served as Vice President, Scientific Affairs since May, 2006. In this capacity, he is responsible for all technical, regulatory and quality matters for Del Laboratories, Inc. He joined Del in January, 2005 as Vice President, R&D. Bruce has 24 years of R&D and technology/business development experience. He has many successful product launches to his credit in personal care and OTC drugs/devices. Prior to Del, Bruce was Worldwide Director, R&D for Johnson & Johnson’s Consumer and Personal Products Worldwide. Prior to that, he was Vice President, R&D for Gillette’s Oral-B Laboratories. Earlier in his career, he held positions of increasing responsibility at Procter & Gamble, Richardson-Vicks and Colgate-Palmolive. Bruce has a Ph.D. in Basic Health Sciences and a B.S. in Biology, both from Stony Brook University. He has co-authored 50 papers/abstracts and is a co-inventor on 9 patents. |
