Bruce J. Goodman joined Humana in 1999 as the company’s senior vice president and chief information officer with a focus on enabling Humana’s delivery of health information and services via the Internet and developing e-health strategies that help define what consumer-centric care means and how it will work.
In September 2002 Mr. Goodman assumed the position of Chief Service and Information Officer with responsibility for our service operations and IT-related functions as well as for billing and enrollment provider affairs and quality management.
Mr. Goodman came to Humana after serving as chief executive officer of C2K Technology Partners Inc. of Livingston New Jersey. C2K Technology Partners provides high-level information technology consultation services with an emphasis on Web-based applications and systems integration.
Prior to his tenure with C2K Mr. Goodman served as chief executive officer of the Prudential Service Company. In that role he was responsible for managing shared services among Prudential business operations nationwide including information technology procurement real estate systems development and operations for accounts payable and human resources security and administrative services.
Mr. Goodman holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering from New York University and attended Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business. He also has earned the Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations. |
