Bruce G. Willison, age 57, became a director of Indymac in July 2005. He is also a director of Indymac Bank. Mr. Willison is the Dean Emeritus and Professor of Management of the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. From 1999 to 2005 he was the Dean of the John E. Anderson Graduate School of Management. He was previously the President and Chief Operating Officer of H.F. Ahmanson and Company. Prior to that Mr. Willison served as the Vice Chairman of First Interstate Bancorp. Concurrently, Mr. Willison served as the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer for First Interstate Bank of California. Prior to his 18 year tenure with First Interstate, Mr. Willison spent six years as a Vice President for Bank of America NT&SA. He currently serves as a corporate director for HealthNet, Inc., Homestore, Inc. and Sun America Inc.’s Fund Complex. He also serves on numerous community boards. Mr. Willison received a degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California. He served as a Lieutenant in the United Stated Navy from 1970 to 1972. |
